Making a good YouTube video seems pretty cut and dry:

1. Have a good subject matter
2. Have good music behind it
3. Make it interesting
4. Make it humorous

These do not always apply at the same time, but they may.

When I make one video about my day, a vlog, it isn't all that appealing to viewers, but when Charles Trippy and Alli Speed record EVERY SINGLE day of their lives, it adds an element of intrigue, and more people want to watch it.
Now, Charles and Alli make a vlog every day on a YouTube channel called CTFxC, which stands for Charles Trippy Friend Corps. (Though last year Friend was replaced by Family)
CTFxC alone has over 500,000 Subscribers, and beyond that, over 200,000,000 video views. This is their vlog channel, their DAILY LIFE! They must know something, and they must be doing it right, because you usually don't just wake up with 200 million views in the morning.

Anyway, I'm going to go into what this secret or secrets must be.

•       I'll just assume that the first secret is a prior knowledge of editing software, and the ability to use it quickly.
•       Two-  A previous audience. Charles Trippy had a channel long before CTFxC was around, and yes, I was a subscriber way back then. Check it, we've been Myspace friends for years! Ha- Myspace.
•       Three- A great 'cast' Charles and Alli make for an entertaining couple, themselves, but with the addition of their families and friends, and the fans they bump into that pop up every now and then, they make it really easy to fall for them, and enjoy the show.
•       Four- Timing. Their videos are usually between nine and eighteen minutes long, just enough time for a short study break.
•       Five- Dogs. Charles and Alli have two adorable dogs, Zoey and Marley, and they know how to use them. They often refer to videos with lots of dog footage as 'dog vlogs' rhyme-y!
•       Six- Interaction. Charles and Alli interact on screen, and what's not to love? Everyone loves on-screen romance, even if it isn't overdone and cheesy like in the movies. Besides that, they interact with the viewer, telling them to 'like the video' or use a 'secret phrase' a common phrase is 'pumpernickel', and no, I don't know why Charles uses that one so much.
•       Seven- Diverse subject matter. No two vlogs are exactly alike, though some have uncanny similarities, and sometimes even the same title.

So, if you take those six things into consideration, you MAY get a bagillion views like them, but don't take my word for it, go see for yourself!

An Eventful Month

I guess I forgot to tell you all (if there is anyone reading this...) that I turned 18 and graduated from high school... hahahahahaha... Yeah, well that's what happened... I suppose people who read my fics thought I was older, I digress. I'm an adult now, and I can read and write whatever freaky stuff I want to. : ) and get paid for it... (if you see any ads around my site now... it would be very kind of you to click on it... (MONEY!) : )

Anyway... Who wants to see pictures of me graduating?!

Okay... Here goes...

So There you have it... A slightly out of order graduation... (It was in the right order in real life...) Anyway, you can expect me to be writing more and stuff-sauce... I just need to not be obsessed with netflix for a little while and we'll be fine, okay? Okay. By the way... Have you listened to my super awesome-failsauce song ...? Listen to the culmination of two evils.... SOMEBODY PARTY ... (Miley Cyrus + Justin Bieber...) EW.

Graduation is Near.

As my high school education comes to an end, I realize how much I am going to miss everyone that I hold dear to me. Especially one JL. When I go off to college in one place, and her in another, we will not talk ever... except on skype... but really, never. (Okay, that was just to make me sound dumb.)
Anyway, as things come to a close, I reflect on how everything has changed me, and how much has changed around me... yup. A lot. I can't really explain, I just wanted to say that I was doing so.
So... I'm gonna go now, but I'll leave you with a few pictures...
